CURE Esthetician Niki’s Winter Skincare Favorites

CURE Esthetician Niki’s Winter Skincare Favorites CureDeRepos

Have you ever noticed how your skin responds to the changing seasons? Cold air, dry indoor heat, and low humidity all can zap your skin of moisture. As it gets colder, I reach for more reparative and hydrating products in the treatment room and wanted to share some favorites along with tips!

Circcell • DEW Skin Perfecting Essence

Restore radiance and refine pores with Circcell’s hydrating and reparative toner. Soothing aloe and arnica provide comfort and work together with lactic acid to brighten and even tone. Pat into the skin in upward motions for a hydrated and radiant complexion.

Environ • Skin EssentiA Hydrating Clay Mask

This unique 3-in-1 mask can be used as a 20-minute hydrating mask, a daily micro-exfoliant, or an overnight mask. Kaolin clay gently draws out impurities while protective Panthenol, a nutrient in the Vitamin B family, manages oxidative stress while strengthening the skin barrier. Use once weekly, working up to twice weekly or whenever the skin needs exfoliation without compromising hydration.

Biologique Recherche • Creme Masque Vernix

This is my favorite cream in the treatment room for imparting instant nourishment and protection to the face, including the neck & decollete. Reach for Vernix when you wake up feeling dry and tight, or as a shield before winter activities. Rich in lipids, proteins, and antioxidant peptides, this rich cream soothes and leaves stressed skin relaxed and glowing. *Available by Phone Order only.

Swiss Line • Lip Zone

The advanced answer to dehydrated lips! This lightweight serum plumps the lip area & fills fine lines with strengthening Peptides and hydrating Hyaluronic Acid. Cell Shock highlights Cellactel 2 Complex which repairs and regenerates the epidermis. Feel free to use that MAC Cherry after — Lip Zone is the perfect prep for lip products.

Sodashi • Body Balance Salt Therapy Exfoliant

A blend of mineral-rich Pink Himalayan Salt with uplifting Sweet Orange and revitalizing Clary Sage extracts, this scrub exfoliates the body, revealing smooth, renewed skin. Scrub in circular motions and follow up with lotion to lock in moisture.

Formulary 55 • La Nuit Candle

Welcome winter by adorning your space in notes of comforting amber combined with myrrh, vanilla, and Egyptian musk. French Lavender balances and adds a fresh floral depth. Enjoy a moment of intention when lighting this soy-based, 80 hour burn complex candle from Formulary 55.

Maximize the efficacy of your skincare with some good practices to take into the winter months!

  • Consider sleeping with a humidifier
  • Use tepid water to minimize dehydration
  • Avoid scented detergent - a common irritant
  • Consider probiotics and herbs like echinacea, elderberry, ginger, and turmeric for immune support

Take refuge from the cold and visit CURE for a rejuvenating body treatment, facial, or in our infrared sauna today!
